What to do with kiddos who are suddenly at home for a week or two?

Check out these GREAT activities from SteveSpanglerScience.com, an amazing site that lets you read about and then watch simple activities.*

Here is what I found for you to consider:

Step through an index card – After you try the activity, try these extensions: what if the card is larger or smaller, plain paper, scrap paper, a paper sack, or a lunch sack? What’s the really best material to “walk through”?

Coin through an index card – Extensions: what if you use a different card? a different coin? thinner or thicker paper? a recycled envelope? What is the best material and coin?

*I’ve purchased some really fun science products from SteveSpanglerScience.com.
